This course has been developed to prepare an individual to sit for the Microsoft® Office Specialist (MOS) Certification for Microsoft® Excel 2010. This training will include but not be limited to: Managing the Worksheet Environment, Creating Cell Data, Formatting Cells and Worksheets, Managing Worksheets and Workbooks, Applying Formulas and Functions, Presenting Data Visually, Sharing Worksheet Data with Users, and Analyzing and Organizing Data. The textbook costs approximately $110.00.
Course material will be structured to the MOS Certification for Microsoft®Excel 2010.
This is a 96 Hour HYBRID course; a combination of 56 hours of face to face classroom instruction and 40 hours of online instruction.
Pre-Requisites/Requirements to Register for this Quick Careers class:
High School Diploma/GED
E-mail and access to a computer with Internet
Successfully use the Internet for information retrieval
Ability to search, retrieve, move, copy, and save electronic files from one storage medium to another
MS®Excel 2007/2010 Skill Sets; Student should know how to create and format spreadsheets and reports; and have a working knowledge of charts and financial Functions. Skill sets may be from prior course training and/or work experience. Demonstration of skill sets may be accessed the first day of class
