This course is for individuals interested in the residential electrical wiring. It offers the knowledge and skills necessary for career pathways in the electrical trade. The course is designed to cover the principles of electrical wiring as it applies to residential applications.
Salary Range: $9 – $12 per hour for entry level positions with potential to earn more with additional training and experience
This 120-hour training will include but not be limited to:
The theory of electrical circuits
Alternating and direct currents
Series and parallel circuits
Use of electrical tools and equipment
Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Electrical components and symbols
Use of standardized wiring techniques
